Miesha Tate versus Liz Carmouche is currently in the works for UFC on Fox 8 July 27 in Seattle, WA. This according to Ariel Helwani of UFC Tonight.
The match hinges on if Tate will be able to get a doctor’s clearance. Tate is on a medical suspension after her loss to Cat Zingano a few weeks ago, sustaining an injured nose. If cleared, she could be back in training as early as June.
Carmouche is coming off a loss to champion Ronda Rousey this past February.
Tate would be fighting in her home state, and if it makes it to the main card, would be the first female bout in Fox Network TV history.
