In an update to our story on Wednesday, Miesha Tate and Liz Carmouche are officially going to duke it out at UFC on Fox 8 July 27 in Seattle. It will be on the main card that will air on Fox. On the preliminary card which will air on FX, Julie Kedzie will take on Germaine de Randamie.

Pancrase Japan will start streaming their cards from time to time, starting with their May 19th card, which includes the Rin Nakai versus Brenda Gonzales and Emi Fujino versus Amber Brown. You can watch at Ustream.tv/channel/pancrase-mma.

Rumors

A bit of a ruckus happened behind the scenes of InvictaFC 5 involving Fallon Fox. We didn’t witness anything while we were there, but MiddleEasy.com has the 4-1-1. Bec Hyatt posted her own story involving Fox on her Facebook page.

Cassie Crisano is going to face a yet to be named opponent at a CFA card in July.

Scheduled Matches

Olympic wrestling silver medalist Sara McMann will make her octagon debut Saturday as she takes on Sheila Gaff at UFC 159 in Newark, NJ. The match will be televised as a part of the preliminary card on the FX Network in the U.S.

McMann has a perfect record of 6-0, having recently gotten a decision win over Shayna Baszler at InvictaFC 2.

Gaff (10-4) will also be making her UFC debut, coming off three straight KO’s under 94 seconds. Gaff is moving from flyweight to bantamweight for the fight.

After an eight year absence from MMA, Erica Paes will be returning this Saturday taking on Gisele Maciel at Gringo Super Fight in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. InvictaFC featherweight title contender Cyborg Santos will be the special guest referee.

  • Also Saturday, Shannon Reed faces Nicole Sontag WFC 5 in Laughlin, NV.

Saturday, Claudia Andrea Lopez will defend her IBF featherweight title against Dahiana Santana in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Both Lopez and Santana are riding four fight winning streaks.
