Former news editor of “Fightergirls” MarQ Piocos has been covering Women’s MMA for over three years, having picked up coverage of wrestling, boxing, and grappling. Arizona’s Shasta McMurry and Vegas’s Amanda Raineville will be duking it out for the first ever Universal Fight Organization strawweight title May 10th at the Silver Nugget Casino in Vegas. It will be the main event.
McMurry lost in her MMA debut via decision to Adriana Nasca in a 110 pound catchweight match. She is a part of an up and coming female MMA team out of Luta Elite MMA in Mesa, AZ.
Raineville will be making her amateur debut.
No word on if the event will be streamed.
