Sexton
Andrade
Rosi Sexton has gotten her wish and will be part of the first ever UFC women’s division fight in England.
Sexton will take on Jennifer Andrade in Manchester October 26th as a part of the UFC’s Fight Night 30 card. Sexton announced the fight Tuesday.
Sexton (13-3) lost a decision to Alexis Davis in her last UFC outing, which saw her return to bantamweight. She was riding a three fight win streak before loss. The England native has been a staple of the British MMA scene for the past decade and would only be right she would be a part of this historic event in the nation’s MMA history.
The Brazilian Andrade (9-3) is coming off a second round TKO loss to Liz Carmouche. She went 7-1 before the loss, with notable wins over Milana Dudieva and InvictaFC vet Duda Yankovich.
The bout will most likely be on the main card October 26 and will air on Fox Sports 1.
