After months of speculation, InvictaFC 7 has a date, and a possible main event.

InvictaFC president Shannon Knapp announced December 7 as the date for the next event via a story on MMARising.com. The event will happen In Kansas City. The venue maybe moving however.

Knapp also stated a 115 title match is in the works between champion Carla Esparza and #1 contender Claudia Gadelha. The fight was supposed to happen a year ago but Gadelha was force to withdraw due to a broken nose.

Esparza (9-2) won the title with a soild decision win over Bec Hyatt this past January. Her only losses were to two of the top fighters in the sport; Megumi Fujii and Jessica Aguilar.

Gadelha (11-0) won her opportunity for the belt by defeating Ayaka Hamasaki by TKO this past July, handing Hamasaki her first loss. She has 8 TKO finishes to her credit.
