Seo Hee Ham will defend her DEEP-JEWELS 105 pound title for the first time against #1 contender Sadae Numata at the promotion’s second event November 4. The match was announced by the promotion Wednesday.

Ham (11-5) won the JEWELS 106 title on the JEWELS’s final show in May by defeating Naho Sugiyama. Ham was declared DEEP-JEWELS champ soon after. Ham has wins over Mei Yamaguchi and Mika Nagano before dropping to atomweight earlier this year. She is currently ranked #3 in the Unified rankings.

Numata (5-1) defeated Celine Haga by decision at DEEP-JEWELS first event in August to earn the shot at title. Numata is on a four fight win streak, with wins over Sachiko Yamamoto and Shino VanHoose.

The promotion also announced the four fighters in their 115 pound Grand Prix. The winner will face the last JEWELS 115 pound champ Ayaka Hamasaki for the strawweight belt next year.

  • Mizuki Inoue (#10 in the unified rankings)
  • Mika Nagano
  • Emi Fujino
  • Emi Tomimatsu

More matches will be announced in the coming weeks.
