Two female bouts took place Wednesday at Ft. Campbell, KY as the UFC entertained the troops and aired the fights on Fox Sports 1.

The co-main event featured two of the top contenders for the 135 title as Alexis Davis took a unanimous decision victory over Liz Carmouche. Davis targeted the left leg of Carmouche throughout the fight, which ultimately slowed down Carmouche. Carmouche was able to bloody Davis in the second round, but Davis was landing more punches and kicks to score with the judges. In the end, Davis takes the decision and improves to 15-5. She currently is on a four fight win streak and has won 7 of her last eight fights.

On the preliminary card, Amanda Nunes got her second UFC win, getting a TKO victory over Germaine de Randamie. Nunes worked some low kicks early and the two had some punching exchanges early. Nunes tried for the takedown but they were initial defended by Randamie. Nunes would eventually get the takedown and work her way into mount. Nunes started some ground and pound elbows, which most was defended by Randamie. Randamie, however, couldn’t improve her postion and the referee stopped the contest at 3:56 of round 1. Nunes improves to 9-3, with all wins by stoppage.
