XFC International Announces First Female Fight

Wombat sports is dedicated to women in combat sports. Former news editor of “Fightergirls” MarQ Piocos has been covering Women’s MMA for over three years, having picked up coverage of wrestling, boxing, and grappling. It is his vision to bring some of the best coverage to help bring and promote the ever expanding popularity of women’s MMA, wrestling, and martial arts with some of the best writers and athletes.

XFC’s South American expansion starts February 8th in Sao Paulo, Brazil with the opening round of their women’s flyweight tournament.
Two undefeated fighters will battle in the first match of the tournament, as Salvana Gomez Juarez takes on Bianca Daimoni.
Argentina’s Juarez (2-0) has finished both of her pro opponents in the first round. Daimoni (3-0) has won all her fights with KOs.
The news comes after Vanessa Melo announced her signing to the XFC. No word on who her opponent will be in the tournament.
The Juarez versus Daimoni match will stream for free on XFCMMA.com or REDE TV Website internationally, and on Rede TV in Brazil at 6:30 p.m. pst/9:30 est February 8.
