The #3 Unified ranked Seo Hee Ham will fight in her homeland of Korea for the first time as she takes on the young gun Shino VanHoose April 6 at RoadFC in Seoul. VanHoose confirmed the match Tuesday.
Ham (12-5) is the current DEEP-JEWELS 106 pound champion, and won the belt from former Invicta fights title challenger Naho Sugiyama last year. Ham was won six of her last seven bouts, and has yet to taste defeat at 105.
VanHoose (3-2) is coming off a 17 month absence from the sport, having last fought under the Pancrase banner in Japan. She started her pro MMA career at the age of 16, wining her first three bouts with her debut seeing a unique Ezekiel choke submission victory. She has moved from Japan back to Idaho since her last match, and will make her debut at 105 against Ham.
The RoadFC event will stream on UStream on April 6 for $10.
