InvictaFC has lost another of their champions to the UFC.

The undefeated Invicta bantamweight champ Lauren Murphy has gotten her wish and is signed to the UFC after the past few months of campaigning. Murphy will take on Sara McMann at UFC Fight Night in Bangor, Maine August 16.

Murphy (8-0) won the Invicta title last December by TKO due to a doctor’s stoppage over Miriam Nakamoto. Her run in the promotion included wins over Kaitlin Young and Sarah D’Alelio. She recently changed camps from Gracie Baja in Texas to the MMA Lab in Arizona; home of former UFC champ Benson Henderson.

McMann (7-1) was campaigning for a fight for the past few months with anyone will to step up. Coming off a TKO loss to champion Ronda Rousey, McMann went on a seven fight win streak before the stoppage. She has wins over UFC fighters Shayna Baszler and former Strikeforce fighter Hitomi Akano.

The match is set to air on Fox Sports 1 August 16.
