(Fightergirls reporter Amber Noffke is on site at the Strikeforce Challengers Nashville and had the opportunity to talk to #4 ranked fighter Amanda Nunes. Amber will be giving live results from her twitter - @AmberMMA)

She came to America to pursue her MMA dreams, and #4 ranked Amanda Nunes hopes to prove that she is the best in the 145 pound divisions.

At weigh-ins on Thursday, Nunes tipped the scales at 143.2 pounds, while her opponent #6 ranked Julia Budd had initially weighed in at 146.2, but took off her clothes from behind a sheet to make 144.2 pounds. They had an intense stare down after the weigh-in.

Nunes, who is 5-1 in the pro ranks, has finished all of her opponents via knockout since losing her first fight nearly three years ago. She states to us that she wants to finish Budd off in a similar fashion.

After being ask about possibly facing champion Cyborg Santos for her next match, Nunes expressed that even though she would take the fight in a heartbeat, she would like a little more time to train for such an experienced fighter like her fellow Brazilian.

When it came to her advice for other fighters wanting to start in the sport, Nunes stated to never give up, and be dedicated to the sport. Living cleanly (not partying hard or drinking too often) will help you tremendously in the long run.

Strikeforce Challengers is live tomorrow Nashville and will be aired on Showtime. Tickets are still available at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium. Digital cable and satellite subscribers that don't have Showtime will be happy to know that this is a Showtime Free preview weekend, so go to your Showtime network channels to watch the action.
