It has been called the most difficult obstacle course in the world, and only 3 men have ever conquered it. Now there are seeking female athletes to conquer Mt. Midoriyama.

G4’s hit show “American Ninja Warriors” is looking for male and female competitors to train and compete for a trip to Japan to conquer the legendary obstacle course. Stuntwoman Luci Romberg has had the most success on the Japanese show, competing twice and eliminated in the middle of stage one.

Two of the best female martial artists have been on the Japanese version of the show. Member of the famous Gracie family, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world champion Kyra Gracie was invited to take on the all female version of the show.

“It was tough,” Gracie stated. “I’d love to do it again.”

Top MMA fighter Megumi Fujii also tried to conquer the course.

“It involved stuff I don't usually do and practice,” Fujii commented. “It was definitely harder than MMA.”

Both were forthcoming with some advice for those aspiring to conquer Mt. Midoriyama.

“Keep yourself in a good training schedule so you can do it well,” Gracie recommended.

“Don't be nervous,” Fujii added. “Get out there and challenge yourself! Have fun with it!”

Qualifying tryouts will take place in May on an obstacle course in Los Angeles to compete for the ultimate opportunity - a trip to Japan's Mt. Midoriyama and the honor of being the first American Ninja Warrior.

A five minute video showing your athletic prowess is required. Applicants must be 21 years of age and a legal U.S. citizen or legal resident. You can apply by going to http://upload.g4tv.com/anw-casting.

Casting ends in a few short weeks, so get those videos submitted.
