Some people might not consider it a sport, but pro-wrestling takes a lot of physical ability and toughness to entertain fans week in and week out.
Total Non-Stop Action's Knockout women's champion Mickie James took some time out of her busy schedule to talk on the Women Talk Sports podcast to give some insight into what it takes to be one of the top female pro-wrestlers in the business today. She also discussed what struggles and triumphs she experienced during her 12 year career; and how story telling and athletic ability intersect in sports entertainment.

I think when it come to professional wrestling most look at it as only bells and whistles ( mostly action ) It takes alot of training as well as, strong mind set to perform throught injuiry and to come back from injuiry . Regardless of the sport an athlete is an athlete . If you don't think so give it a try and let me know how you feel after a few matches .
