Baylor stays on top of the AP Poll

In this week’s Associated Press poll tally, Baylor received two more first place votes than last week, securing its number one position. St. John’s and Texas dropped out.

Texas was previously ranked at No. 22 but lost to unranked Missouri Saturday in a Big 12 opener. St. John’s lost to No. 16 DePaul on Saturday, adding to a three-game losing streak for the Red Storm.

  2. Connecticut (12)
  3. Duke (1)
  4. Stanford (2)
  5. Tennessee
