Tulsa Shock to hold open tryouts

Like many other WNBA teams, the Tulsa Shock will hold open tryouts for players who want to compete for a chance at a training camp spot. Fifty women will participate in the event on Friday, April 29 at 9:00 a.m. CT at First United Methodist Church (1115 S. Boulder Avenue) in Tulsa.

Participants include:

  • Precious Robinson (Oklahoma State)
  • Former WNBA player Tamara Moore
  • Danielle Gant (Texas A&M;)
  • Desiree Frierson (Oral Roberts University)

General Manager and Head Coach Nolan Richardson, assistant Wayne Stehlik and Director of Player Personnel Teresa Edwards will evaluate the talent. The Shock’s training camp begins May 15.
