On Monday night I was humbled with the opportunity to attend the Los Angeles How Do You Know Premiere at Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, California, with a media pass to film coverage of the event. The premiere was for Columbia Pictures new movie: How Do You Know, starring Reese Witherspoon, Owen Wilson, Paul Rudd, and Jack Nicholson. All of these stars, their co-stars, and the USA Softball Olympians (including my clients, Jessica Mendoza, Natasha Watley, Tairia Flowers, and Andrea Duran) broached the red carpet on the night, stopping for pictures and interviews. Also walking the red carpet was Sue Enquist, known simply as Coach to all of us, but known to Reese as her “Athletic Technical Advisor” for the movie. Reese plays a former USA Olympian in the movie and has a couple of quick softball scenes, so all the hard work in training she did with Coach Enquist and Olympians really paid off! I was fortunate enough to get a sneak peak at the movie and there is a minimal amount of softball scenes. You will realize how committed Reese is to her character, knowing she trained 3 days a week for 5 months just to nail those 2 scenes! That level of commitment is why so many of us are fans of her! I captured a lot of fun footage and photos on the event – check out the above 1 minute snippet of all the Hollywood madness!
