Wells is an American sprinter and hurdler, National Champion and US Indoor bronze metalist.

Kellie Wells, Americas Newest Track Superstar, Is No Longer Running From Her Past
Wells started her career at Hampton University where she helped bring home 8 NCAA titles (4 indoor/4 outdoor). She took home All-American titles in the 60m and 100m hurdles in 2006 and 2006. In 2008, Wells placed 3rd in the indoor 60m hurdles.
In 2010, she placed second in the 100m hurdles at the USA Outdoor Championships. She improved her finish in 2011, taking home gold at USA's.
At the 2012 Olympic Trials, Wells placed second, earning a spot on Team USA headed to London.
Wells is currently sponsored by Nike.
