Hey Everyone,

I had a ROUGH and TOUGH practice today! Yesterday was a sprint day and I ran some of my fastest times. I didn’t realize the toll it took on my body however so I made a HUGE mistake and didn’t ice! Well let me just say I won’t be under-estimating my workouts again lol. Because today when I was on the track I was in PAIN! My body was tender and sore, and my coach expected me to get up and hit it hard again today!

I gave my coach EXACTLY what she was looking for but man was it work. I was really getting busy today as Trojan Horse would say lol. They said we are in the last haul for Nationals and we need to make every practice better than the last and so far this week that is what we’ve been doing!!

As I said earlier I won’t under-estimate my practice again so I took an ice bath this evening and I will get my body worked on tomorrow so I will be ready to run Thursday!!! Talk to you soon

xoxo MacKenzie
