Since the beginning of last season, I’ve done 80+ seminars on how to get to the next level, with an average of 30 players in the room, ranging from 10 to 18 years old.
Every single player in all those sessions had the same two BIG goals:
1. To play college or university hockey.
2. To play for the Olympic team.
That’s over 2400+ girls hockey players dreaming the same BIG dreams.
I would never discourage any girl from going after these BIG goals because I know it was the passionate pursuit of those two goals that allowed me to realize my dreams of playing Division 1 hockey, trying out for the national team and helped make me the person I am today.
But ultimately…this all comes down to a numbers game.
