The Giants win the Pennant!

Two basketball teammates who talk about the Stanford Women's Basketball games and women's sports issues, among other things.

The Giants win the Pennant! The Giants win the pennant! The Giants win the pennant!

That is the historical call from October 3rd, 1951, when Bobby Thomson hits the “shot heard ‘round the world”, and yes, it is the same call for October 23rd, 2010, when Juan Uribe, not as dramatically yet just as importantly, hit the opposite field home run to propel the Giants to the World Series over the Phillies.
