Seattle Storm Capitalize On Washington Mystics Miscues To Win 73-63

This was by no means a pretty game, with the Storm committing 10 turnovers in the second half after the Mystics committed 11 in the first half.

Part of that was good defense on both sides, part of it was players making passes they probably wish they could have back. The same could go for the Mystics' shooting: part of it was the Storm's defense, part of it was shot selection worthy of 31.9% shooting.

Ultimately, it was the Storm's ability to hit shots while the Mystics struggled to find looks that decided the game: the Storm outshot the Mystics with an effective field goal percentage of 50.88% compared to the Mystics' 34.78%.

Update and question at the link above (via WNBAlien): What did today's game say about the Storm's playoff chances?
