Unfortunately, Australia lost this one 74-70 to France after that Belinda Snell shot sent the game into overtime, as Dan Devine of Yahoo! Sports has already described in a summary of the day's games (along with a higher quality video).

With 3.3 seconds left and France leading 64-62, France center Isabelle Yacoubou stepped to the foul line for two free-throws with a chance to seal the game...Yacoubou hit the first freebie, but missed the second, and the rebound was corralled by her Australian counterpart, Abby Bishop.

The Opals' center quickly snapped an outlet to Snell, who took a left-hand dribble, gathered and — with French defenders Gomis and Céline Dumerc all over her — threw up a 50-plus-foot prayer. It was answered.

However, Australia wasn't able to capitalize on Snell's shot with a win.

As Jānis Kacēns of Love Women's Basketball observed, "Australian hopes of French being emotionally stunned by the turn of events didn’t materialize, as the French looked more amused than stunned" - with both Liz Cambage and Lauren Jackson having already fouled out, France was able to pull it out in the extra frame.

Kacēns also makes another relevant note on the shot: the Opals only shot 4-for-19 from 3-point range in the game, with Snell's "prayer' obviously one of them.
