The first game is on Sunday, September 7 and will be on broadcast television. However, this also happens to be on the same weekend when the NFL kicks off its first weekend. While the reach is certainly larger on broadcast TV than cable, let's be honest, that's going to hurt any potential ratings.
Now that the Finals are out, I'm excited! Sure, the Chicago Sky has a 15-19 record heading into this series, but let's also acknowledge that injuries hurt their record, and this team is now peaking at the right time. It's also the first time that we'll see the Top-2 picks in the 2013 WNBA Draft: Brittney Griner and Elena Delle Donne face off against each other at this level.
That's why they were part of the "Three to See." Yes, I said those Three Words That Shalt Not Be Mentioned.
But anyway, with Chicago gaining momentum late, does this team have a chance to make this series more competitive than it may appear on the surface? Poll's below, and so are comments.
