With the women's league in Russia underway and with two weeks to the start of Turkish league play, there's still time for players to sign with teams.

Poland

Round 2 of Polish games is complete, with eurobasket.com giving Jhasmin Player their Polish League player of the week for Round 2.  Player had 29 points/7 rebounds for Sleza Wroclaw in a 77-72 overtime win against Gydnia.

Russia

The Russians have opened their regular season, finishing Round One of their league games.  A couple of WNBA players have signed with Russia. Emma Meesseman of both Belgium and the Washington Mystics has signed with Spartak Moscow, joining Stefanie Dolson.  Renee Montgomery of the Connecticut Sun comes back to Chevakata, having played there before. She'll join up with Kayla Alexander.  Spartak Moscow will be participating the Euroleague while Chevakata will play in Eurocup play this off-season.

Turkey

Kara Braxton signs a contract with Ormanspor.  She has played in the WNBA since 2005 but only played four games with the New York Liberty this season.  Braxton has played in Russia, Turkey and China and joins Jasmine Thomas.  Chanelle Handy has also signed with Ormanspor - an English native who played for the British Olympic team, she played her college basketball at Marshall.

Istanbul Universitesi signed Courtney Paris for the upcoming season.  Paris has played for many WNBA teams and this is the third different team she has played with in Turkey.

Eurocup

Maccabi Ashdod picks up Alysha Clark.  She should be joining Shamela Hampton, Tiffany Jackson and Laine Selwyn in a push for the Eurocup.  Clark has played three years in Seattle, starting 22 games this year and scoring 4.2 ppg.  She has played in Israel before.

Around Europe

Alexis Hornbuckle ends up at Elitzur Holon in Israel.  She joins Amanda Houts, Natasha Howard and Danielle McCray who have all signed to play there this month.  Gennifer Brandon was cut by Maccabi Raman Hen.
