Stanford Coach Tara VanDerveer has won 920 games to date, third-most in NCAA women’s basketball history, lead Stanford to two national championships and 25 Conference titles, and earn a spot in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. Her proven philosophy is simple – work. She has implemented that philosophy since 1978 when she became a college head basketball coach and it has translated into a .833 winning percentage at Stanford and14 consecutive Pac-12 Championships.
Most important is the impact she has had on so many young women who have played on her teams, leading them to many wins, while teaching life lessons along the way.
And now, Pac-12 Networks is bringing college basketball fans behind the scenes, in the huddles and onto the bench with a 30-minute documentary entitled Tara VanDerveer: Life in a Season.
