Sunday afternoon, MarQ Piocos and l will host the weekly Women Talk Sports Radio Show at 6pm Eastern/3pm Pacific.

Anne AudainWe will be discussing the ING New York Marathon with our special guest Anne Audain, long distance running pioneer for women, author, speaker and philanthropist. Audain's story is a fascinating one. She was born with severe bone deformities in her feet. She had surgery at age 13 and went on to compete in the 1976, 1984 and 1988 Olympics for New Zealand. In 1981, she won the Cascade Runoff 15K in Portland, Oregon, and accepted prize money for her win - the first time a woman ever accepted prize money. She was banned "for life" as a result (her ban was later lifted).
