Caroline Wozniacki celebrated the launch of the adidas by Stella McCartney Spring/Summer 2011 collection, as the brand celebrated her current world number 1 ranking. The Danish star has been the exclusive face of the designer tennis line since 2009. This year she secured the year-end number one ranking of the WTA Championships, playing in none other than McCartney's stylish sports performance fashions. While at the Hong Kong Tennis Classic last week, Wozniacki helped to unveil the new collection.
Fans will get the first up-close look at the adidas by Stella McCartney SS 2011 offerings when Wozniacki takes the court next week at the Australian Open. During the first Grand Slam of the season, she'll be wearing a pink and white Ballerina-inspired dress with a pleated skirt. On her feet fans will see the Eileithyia Tennis Shoe in white and metallic silver. Check it out:
Caroline will have a different outfit for each Grand Slam in 2011. Later in the year, the tennis star will wear a Bodycon Dress with ruffles, inspired by Stella McCartney SS10 ready-to-wear collection.
As for the collection itself, McCartney continues to produce fashion-forward activewear that challenges traditional sport silhouettes. Pieces continue to combine adidas' performance-enhancing technology with McCartney's design aesthetic.
According to the brand, "Inspired by summer outdoor activities from long country walks to music festivals, Weekender, the newest category for SS11 collection, fuses stylish outdoor designs with top-level technology: represented by 3xDRY® (water-repellent and anti-odour) within apparel, for maximum comfort. Highlights include the Blanket cape with military silhouette, the red sleeping bag and the fashionable rubber boots."
"Alongside this season’s new category, the innovative seamless underwear line is also introduced, featuring soft hand feel (Polyamide touch) and no side seams, offering versatile and highly functional (CLIMALITE technology) pieces suitable for all kinds of sport."
This season’s collection will also feature new styles in Golf, Gym Yoga and Gym Studio, alongside Tennis, Cycling, Running.

2010 Stella McCartney Tennis collection is much better than before - at last some bright colors instead of white-beige color palette. 2011 collection is ballet inspired, hope to see something interesting there as well...
