SEATTLE -- The Washington women's basketball program looks to continue its upward trend in 2013-14. It will all begin with the non-conference schedule where the Huskies hope to get off to a hot start and put themselves in position to be considered an NCAA Tournament caliber team.

The non-conference schedule we be announced on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. via twitter. New head coach Mike Neighbors will tweet each opponent from his personal account. You can follow Coach Neighbors (@coachneighbors) to get the news.

Neighbors will announce the dates and opponents for the non-conference season, plus a quick thought about each team that will fit in the 140-character limit.

The Dawgs have high expectations in 2013-14, adding three prized recruits, while Katie Collier returns from injury. Washington lost just two seniors to graduation, giving the team improved depth, particularly in the front court.

The announcement will not include game times as those will not be set until the TV schedule is finalized. The conference schedule is expected to be announced by the Pac-12 on September 1.
