MMA Fighter Heather Clark Wins Boxing Debut

Jackson/Winkeljohn MMA fighter Heather Clark is the latest to have success to the sweet science. Clark won a split decision victory in her boxing debut against Chavira Jack at the Golden Girl Promotions card at Santa Ana Star Casino in Albuquerque, NM Saturday night. The scores were 37-39, 39-37, and 39-37.

World class boxers like Holly Holm and Jodie Esquible train with Clark at Jacksons/Winkeljohn in Albuquerque.

In another feamle bout on the card, Brandi Montoya defeated Natalie Roy by unanimous decision.

Clark will return to the MMA cage June 22 at XFC 18 in Nashville, TN. Her opponent is yet to be announced.
