Tuff-n-uff has been know to create future MMA stars, and will do so again with a featherweight tournament.

The amateur promotion announced Sunday that they will hold their second 145 pound tournament starting September 30th. The last time they held the tournament, we saw UFC champion Ronda Rousey’s last amateur fight. In the finals, Ashlee Evans-Smith would lose to Taylor Stratford. Smith is a finalist in the CFA pro featherweight tournament.

Seven of the eight competitors have been announced. They are:

  • Bethany Del Cid (Team Alpha Male) – debuter. Undefeated amateur boxing standout.
  • Jessica Zomcik (Evolve MMA) – 7-3. Notable wins over Amanda Wilcoxen-Morgan and Alyssa Vasquez
  • Danielle Mack (Sweet Science Boxing & MMA) – 0-3. Lost her last fight to Rousey’s training partner Marina Shafir. Going down from 155 to 145.
  • Felicia Spencer (The Jungle MMA & Fitness) – debut. MMA writer for Real Combat Sports Media.
  • Shannon Reid (Drysdale Jiu-jitsu) – 1-1. King of the Cage vet. Defeated Adrian Dauby Crocker by unanimous decision this past January
  • Autumn Richardson (Team Quest) – 2-6-1. Four year vet of the sport. Lost to a who’s who of the sport including Rousey, Taylor Straford, and Jessamyn Duke.
  • Summer Bradshaw (Pariah MMA)  - 4-0. Has finished her last 3 opponents by TKO.

The opening round will start September 30 at South Pointe Casino in Las Vegas. It is expected to stream for $12 on their UStream channel.

The semi-finals will be held October 11, and finals on November 29th.
