Tara LaRosa to be Inducted in New Jersey Martial Arts Hall of Fame

One of the legends in MMA will be given recognition in December.

An 11 year vet of the sport, Tara LaRosa will be inducted into the New Jersey Martial Arts Hall of Fame December 6 in Secaucus, NJ. LaRosa joins UFC fighter Jim Miller, coach Danny Schulmann, BJJ specialist Rolles Gracie, and Donald Trump among the inductees for the second annual class.

LaRosa (21-3) is one of the most accomplished fighters in women’s divisions,  The former Bodog champion had fights with a who’s who of the sport, including wins over Julie Kedzie, Alexis Davis, and Shayna Baszler. Her second battle with Roxanne Modafferi garnered Match of the Year in 2010.

LaRosa will be a part of “The Ultimate Fighter”, which will air September 4 on Fox Sports 1.
