InvictaFC flyweight champion Barb Honchak will be fighting in her hometown as she takes on Japanese vet Takayo Hashi at InvictaFC 9 in Davenport, Iowa November 1.

Honchak (9-2) has been on a roll since her split decision loss to TUF 20’s Angela Magana. She has won eight straight including wins over a who’s who of the women’s divisions. She defeated UFC fighter Leslie Smith in her first title defense. Honchak has been training with UFC fighter Cat Zingano to prepare her for her fight this week.

Former Strikeforce title contender Hashi (15-4-1) has seen a resurgence since dropping back to 125. She has gone unbeaten in her last three fights, with wins over Roxanne Modafferi and Shizuka Sugiyama ; the latter she won the DEEP-JEWELS title.

We are expecting the complete InvictaFC 9 card to be announced Tuesday.

The fights will stream on UFC Fight Pass Nov. 1.
