In keeping with SB Nation’s innovative use of social media in reshaping sports journalism, our vision is a women's basketball site that goes beyond merely providing game reports; instead, we want to capture the narratives that fuel our passion for the game, while maintaining the critical stance that helps us understand the game better.

Delaware's Elena Delle Donne, Notre Dame's Skylar Diggins and Baylor's Brittney Griner visited ESPN's campus today for a wide range of activities, which you can find in their entirely at espnW.
First, ESPN should be commended for increasing their coverage of women's basketball - as WNBA President Laurel Richie and many of us here have observed, their coverage of the WNBA Draft lottery was great news for the league and bringing in the projected top three draft prospects to Bristol only adds to the exposure for the league.
But something else that came out of this event was Delle Donne publicly stating where she'd like to play in the WNBA during an ESPN SportsNation chat.
Wolf philly pa [via mobile]Where do u really want to play pro ball?
Elena Delle Donne (9:40 AM)
I would love to play in Chicago, that would be my No. 1 choice.
The Chicago Sky hold the #2 pick in the 2013 WNBA draft and some believe that they have a bit of a decision to make: while Delle Donne is widely considered the second-most talented prospect, the Sky were also plagued by turnovers throughout the 2012 season and could, perhaps, be interested in a guard like Diggins instead.
This also quells any doubt from WNBA fans concerned that Delle Donne would want to be as close to home as possible after choosing to leave UConn for Delaware in her freshman year of college - sorry Washington Mystics fans, it doesn't look like she's going to hold out to be picked fourth.
