The WNBA released it's 2011 season schedule today, which will begin on June 3, 2011. The L.A. Sparks and Candace Parker host the Minnesota Lynx (and perhaps Maya Moore?) to kick off the action.
Defending champion Seattle Storm lace them up on the 4th against Diana Taurasi and the Phoenix Mercury in an ABC-televised contest to begin their title defense and open an over 70-game tv schedule for the league in 2011.
The regular season will end Sept. 8 with Minnesota having the honors of book-ending the season as they host Chicago.
