California native Greg Wooden, however, thought so much of Geno Auriemma and the Connecticut Huskies women's basketball team's assault on his grandfather's record 88 consecutive wins, that he flew cross country to be in attendance.

Prior to the game, he met with the press to discuss the streak, his grandfather, what his grandfather felt about the women's game, and why he felt it was important to be there.
