Ewelina Kobryn on The European Basketball World

Born in Tarnobrzeg, Ewelina Kobryn has played for TS Wilsa can-Pack Krakow in the Poland Women's Basketball League for 4 seasons.  She began her sports career at age 17 with Wilsa Krakow in 2002.  Later, Kobryn was traded to Lotos Gdynia, also in the PLKK, for 3 seasons befor rejoining her former team, Wilsa Krakow, in 2007.  During the 2010-2011 season, she averaged 14.1 ppg and 5.7 rbg for her team in the PLKK and 10.5 ppg and 7.4 rpg for the national team.  At Wilsa Kraow, Kobryn advanced to the Final Four in the 2010 Euroleague Championship and won the PLKK Championship.  It was announced on April 6, 2011 that the WNBA's New York Liberty signed Ewelina Kobryn as an unrestricted free agent.
