Lauren Jackson interview w/ Mark Fontes
Jackson started her basketball career at the Australian Institute of Sport in the WNBL. She then moved to the Canberra Capitals. At the 2000 Summer Olympics, Jackson scored 20 points and 13 rebounds playing for Australia in a loss to the United States, helping the team take home the silver meta. In 2001 she was drafted to the Seattle Storm. In 2003 she was awarded the MVP. In 2004, she and the Australian team took home the silver metal, again, after losing to the U.S.. She took home her second MVP award and a Defensive Player of the Year award in 2007. In 2008, at the Beijing Olympics, she and the Australian team took home the silver after losing to the U.S yet again.
