Lyttle grew up in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. She attended the University of Houston where she played forward. She impressed many with her ability to dunk, a task that only a few women have done in the college game. She is the first WNBA player to come from her country. She started her WNBA career with the Houston Comets in 2005. After three years with the Comets, she joined Atlanta Dream. She was a WNBA All-Star in 2009 and 2010 during her time with the Dream. She competed with Spain's national team at the 2010 FIBA World Championship for Women where she took home a bronze medal.
