Miller and her identical twin sister attended the University of Georgia. While there, she recieved the James E. Sullivan Award, given to the nation's top amateur athlete. She participated in the World University Games where she took home silver. In 2001 she was drafted by the Washington Mystics (WNBA) as the #9 pick. In 2002 she played for the Birmingham Power of the National Women's Basketball League with her sister Kelly. She stayed with the Mystics until 2009 when she was waived. A few days after leaving Washington she signed with the Atlanta Dream.
